THE RAMAYANA IS ESSENTIAL IN TODAY’S SOCIETY
Embodiments of Love!
The Ramayana is essential in today’s society. There are no sons that respect the father today. There are no fathers who give parental love to their sons. There are no disciples (or students) who respect their gurus (preceptors or teachers). There are no gurus who give parental love to their disciples (or students). In such a situation, the Ramayana is a sacred story that gives an ideal in all aspects.
How should parents conduct themselves in the house? How should an ideal be given to the children? Today we cannot observe this in any house at all. How should brothers mix and conduct themselves? How should these sons maintain the respect of the house? Such an ideal is not observed today.
How should husbands conduct towards wives and how should wives conduct towards husbands, and give an ideal to society? This is not seen anywhere today. Respect and decorum of behavior have reduced. However, freedom has crossed the limit. It is contradictory to others. In a situation like this, this sacred and ancient story of the Ramayana gives an ideal in all ways.
How should one’s own child be raised? How should they be kept under control? How should they be given an ideal? Today’s parents do not do such inquiry at all. They (parents) think that their responsibility has been fulfilled if they join the child in a primary school as soon as the fifth year of age comes.
First and foremost, the house of the parents is the first school of the children. There they learn how elders should be respected. How should truth be spoken? How should we practice truth and Dharma? When one goes to the school, (they learn) how should one behave in the school. How should the teachers be respected? How should we act with one’s fellow students? Today no one at all is thinking about matters like these.
As soon as one goes to the school, how should we conduct with the other children? We should recognize this first and foremost. Not only this, the rules should also be recognized and followed accordingly. We should recognize the discipline of the educational institute and practice it to some extent. Only when we recognize these types truths in everyday life, students will become ideal students.
The name shows the person. Both the name and the form declare the behavior. Through the behavior that these two teach, we should put into practice and give an ideal.

In the past in villages, as soon as the cock crowed people would get up well from sleep and from the bed. They would brush their teeth, attend to the calls of nature, have bath, wear clothes and eat breakfast. They would consume good food in a limited way, chewing well, which does good. They would go to school and learn lessons with interest and be called an obedient boy. Never move about in wet places. Never be anywhere near pits of dirt and heaps of garbage, as they do harm. Then participate in running, chedugudu and football games. If you act at the right moment, if you follow all the above rules of conduct you’re bound to experience the fortune of wealth
(Telugu poem)

Students!
Before education, we should look after our health well.
After so long being childless, four sons were born to Dasaratha. He gave an ideal as to direct them into good practices and keep them in control. Students of today are not keeping in memory how the father should be respected. How should we conduct ourselves according to the mother’s words? How should we follow the teachings of the mother?

VISWAMITRA CAME TO DASARATHA
Viswamitra came to Dasaratha regarding the performance of the yagna. Dasaratha paid respects and gave a high seat to him, and prayed, “Please tell the reason why you have come.” We should make the proper effort to respect, offer hospitality and give joy to every individual that comes to our house.
“Dasaratha! I have resolved upon a yagna for the welfare of the world. However, many demons are putting obstacles in its way. It is not as if I don’t have the power (capability to repel the demons). I have all weapons. There are all powers and capabilities. However, due to beginning the performance of the yagna, I don’t have the authority to use these weapons or to have anger. I have accepted the proper standards for yagna. It is not right at all for me to punish them (the demons). Therefore, I have come to ask for your son to protect this yagna, which is for the protection of the world.”
Dasaratha a sort of shock. He (Rama) was at a tender age. He never left home and elders, saw any demons, or preformed any yagna or yagas. It doesn’t seem justified to hardheartedly send them to such a place of unsacred hearts.
“Swami (Sir)! Forgive me. I will protect your entire yagna. I will bring so many thousands of soldiers also. There is no need to take these young boys. They don’t know anything. They don’t have any practice in the use of weapons at all. The twelfth year has passed and the thirteenth year has come. In what way can I send such children to protect a yagna?”
Based on this situation, Viswamitra attempted to show some anger. He said, “In the family line of Ikshvaku they will not go against the given word. You have given the word, ‘Without fail I will fulfill the reason for which you came.’ Is it justified to go back on such a promise? If you feel that it is justified, then I will go.”
‘However, one should be very careful around rishis. One should conduct very carefully around Swamis and snakes. What curse will he give?’ Thinking that, he (Dasaratha) was a little afraid and he called Vasishta. Vasishta came and paid respects to Viswamitra and he (Vasishta) conversed with him. Dasaratha was a little satisfied with this.
(Vasishta said to Dasaratha,) “Dear one, our children are not ordinary children. You are so worried only due to parental affection. In your sight they are only sons but actually they are like thunderbolts (very mighty and powerful). You are not trying at all to recognize their power and capability.” Saying that, he had Rama called.
When Rama comes Lakshmana must also come. This is their practice. Both of them came. They bowed to their father and they bowed before their teacher Vasishta. Due to their father introducing them to Viswamitra, they also bowed before him. They stood quietly.
Viswamitra sat looking at them. The radiance that came out of their effulgence made him forget himself. Viswamitra made the resolve to bow before them. Yet it isn’t the suitable culture (practice) to bow before them, as they were just children. Viswamitra bowed (to them) within himself, and he sat blissfully looking at them.
Vasishta narrated everything to Dasaratha. What are the habits of these children? Wherever they go, Lakshmana was beside Rama and Satrughna was beside Bharata. They followed like shadows. What is the reason for this? When we inquire to some extent into the past story, we will understand well these reasons.

THE THREE DRANK THE PAYASAM
After the putrakameshti yagna (a fire ceremony done for the boon of sons) was completed, Vasishta brought the payasam (sweet rice pudding), which was the prasad of the yagna, and gave it to the father, Dasaratha. Dasaratha gave it to Kausalya’s hand, and he said, “The three of you share it.”
Kausalya was the chief queen. She had the courage that the son born to her will definitely obtain the kingdom. Before the marriage, Dasaratha gave a promise to King Kekeyi. He said, “I will coronate as King the son born to your daughter (Kaika).” Due to this the two (Kausalya and Kaika) blissfully took it (drank the payasam).
Sumitra was very virtuous. She had a sacred heart. They also gave her (the payasam). She knew (contemplated) deep within, “What is the use of this payasam and of the children that are born to me? They are only good to serve but they cannot live independently at all.”
Thinking that, she did not utter a word. Silently she took that cup and went to the top, on the roof. She had taken head-bath (washed her hair). There were no fans and hair dryers. As the sun was shining, she put that cup there (on the roof), and she was drying her head in this way.
Suddenly an eagle came from somewhere and lifted and took that cup away. Sumitra became very afraid. “Due to me being negligent, due to not being careful, it happened like this. How will the husband make me suffer? How will his mind be given pain? The husband should not be put to suffering.” Thinking that, she came down.
When she came down, she told about this matter, “An eagle took my cup of payasam like this.” Kausalya and Kaika were very virtuous. They are ones who gained great fame. Kaika also gained a lot of knowledge in the performance of yagna and yagas. Kaika learned all about the use of weapons. It was Kaika who taught Rama and Bharata archery at a young age. So Kaika was highly virtuous.
She (Kaika) called her (Sumitra) there (and said),”You don’t need to worry. The three of us are one. Let the three of us take it equally.” Is that kind of unity present in this age? No! You can just inquire how sacred the nature of love, the lack of ego and the unity among these wives is.
She (Kaika) poured half her cup into her (Sumitra’s) cup. Kausalya was the chief queen. “Mother, the three of us are equal. Look here, I am also pouring half of mine.” Saying that, she (Kausalya) poured half her cup into Sumitra’s cup.
They took the three cups, went to Vasishta, bowed before the deities of the yagna (the alter), and received the commands (permission). Vasishta gave them permission. The three bowed, and the three closed their eyes and drank the payasam.

THESE CHILDREN ARE YOUR GIFTS
After partaking this prasad, after a few months they came to know that soon sons would be born to them. Coming to know of this news, they felt very joyful within themselves.
However, Sumitra had very deep faith, wanting to show and prove her gratefulness. As soon as she gave birth, there were two babies (twins). Even though she tried so much to look after those two, it was not possible. At night they had no sleep and during the daytime they didn’t take food or drink milk. Whenever Satrughna and Lakshmana were observed, they used to continue crying.
Unable to understand why the babies were always crying, she brought them to Vasishta. She prayed, “Do they have any suffering inside? Or do they have any disease? Do they have any lack of God's protection? Please bestow your Grace and tell me.”
He (Vasishta) closed his eyes. He saw (the reason) with his yoga drishti (Divine vision). “Mother, Lakshmana has come from a part of Rama. Lakshmana is one who was born from half the portion of Kausalya’s cup. Satrughna is one who was born of the half-portion of Kaika’s cup. So Satrughna is a part of Bharata. Lakshmana is a part of Rama. Go to Rama and lay Lakshmana down (by his side). Take Satrughna and lay him by the side of Bharata. They will sleep well, without any worry.”
She took them according to the order of the preceptor. Without any kind of obstacle, they closed their eyes and slept happily. They played. They both got up singing. Seeing this joy Sumitra experienced great bliss.
When both Kaika and Kausalya were in one place, Sumitra went there. “Akka (elder sister, meaning Kausalya) and chelli (younger sister, meaning Kaika)! These children are gifts from both of you. Or else how would I have children? Therefore, both of these children, look here, one son is to serve your son and another son is to serve your son.” Saying that, she offered Lakshmana to serve Rama. She offered Satrughna to Kaika, for the service of Bharata.
“These (children) are yours. I am only an instrument. These children are your gifts. They have been born in my womb to serve. I am so lucky! It is my great good fortune to offer the world such ones who do service.” Saying that she was so joyful within herself. She gave Satrughna to be beside Bharata and she gave Lakshmana to be with Rama.
That’s all: from then on, wherever Rama put a step, Lakshmana also had to go. Wherever Bharata put a step, Satrughna also went there. They spent this type of life. They not only served. Even Rama and Bharata could not live for a moment leaving them (Lakshmana and Satrughna).

SATRUGHNA WENT WITH BHARATA
If Rama was given any sweet, he didn’t touch it at all until Lakshmana came. On his (Rama’s) birthday, even if his mother made it into an elaborate event, he didn’t accept it at all. He didn’t touch anything until Lakshmana arrived. Bharata was the same. He didn’t try to eat any sweet until Satrughna came.
So, after Bharata was married, his maternal uncle King Kekeya, meaning, the king of Kashmir, took his daughter (son-in-law) to his house. Then he only called Bharata but he did not call Satrughna. Bharata didn’t even tell Satrughna to come. It (Bharata asking Satrughna to come) is not even in any story. Then Satrughna went with Bharata.
When Rama was sent to the forest Lakshmana also went along with Him. Rama said so much; he said, “Mother and father who are in old age, are suffering so much due to separation from Me. Stay in the house to comfort and console them.
(Lakshmana answered,) “Brother, my mother sent me here for Your service. You are following the command of your father. I must follow the command of my mother.”

Mathru Devo Bhava.
Pithru Devo Bhava.

Mother is God.
Father is God.
(Sanskrit sloka)

“Both of these (dictates) are important standards for us.” Saying that, Lakshmana went with Rama. He didn’t listen no matter how much was said.
Satrughna was the same. The good qualities of Satrughna are not mentioned anywhere in the Ramayana, however Satrughna is the one who kills satru (enemies). Wherever enemies of Rama or Bharata were seen, he wouldn’t let them live at all. However, a situation like that cannot be observed anywhere.
Satrughna went with Bharata. Only Satrughna went. He was married. Bharata went with his wife to the house of the father (father-in-law). But he (Satrughna) didn’t even take his wife. He went all alone with Bharata. How were his virtues? Like this only. They had very sacred qualities.
The four sons got married in Mithila and came to Ayodhya. Dasaratha said, “Dear, I am so joyful seeing the eight eyes of these four (sons), which are like the eight planets.” However, their wives also came with them. They are also the eight planets, meaning, they have eight eyes. Eight and eight is sixteen. “I am experiencing bliss by beholding these sixteen eyes. Though I have sons, I look after my daughter-in-laws like daughters.”
Then he said, “How lucky I am! The result of my austerity has given me so much bliss. Where are they in Mithila and where are my sons in Ayodhya? Their intermingled relationship is the Grace of God. I won't ever see such virtuous ones.”
Wives are ones who obey the commands of their husbands. Sita and Urmila (the wife of Lakshmana) were so great. Mandavi (the wife of Bharata) and Sruthakeerthi (the wife of Satrughna) were also very virtuous. Mandavi and Sruthakeerthi were the daughters of King Janaka’s younger brother. The eldest daughter of Janaka was Sita. The second daughter was Urmila. Both of them were given to Rama and Lakshmana in marriage.
They never went against the commands of their husbands. Due to having such daughters, such daughters-in-laws and such mothers-in-law, that residence became an ideal residence.

INITIATION INTO A MANTHRA
Viswamitra came and as soon as he requested (that Rama be sent with him), he took the permission of Vasishta and he told Rama to go (with him) to protect the yagna. Lakshmana didn’t need the command of anyone. At the very onset he received the command of his mother. He started off with Rama.
After going on the banks of the Sarayu river, he (Viswamitra) said, “Dear one, now we must reach Siddhasram. I will give you initiation into a manthra.” This is maya (illusion or delusion). Though he knew that Rama was omnipresent, though he knew that Rama had all powers, Viswamitra tried to give him initiation into a mantra. Even great sages fell into this kind of maya.
Why did he do it? “Dear son, it is not possible for you to touch food until all the demons in (around or near) Siddhasram are killed. There will not be any opportunity to sleep.” To gain victory over food (hunger) and sleep, he gave the mantras of Bala-Atibala. ‘Bala’ overcomes sleep. ‘Atibala’ overcomes hunger. Hence, the preceptor bestowed a kind of demonstrative power to be without hunger, thirst, sleep and food in life. For that reason, Lakshmana also went with Rama.

THIS IS ALL THE RESOLVE OF GOD
Therefore, there are children in each house. There is no close relationship between them. Yet in the house of King Dasaratha, four children lived as one praana (life principle). All of their eating, going about, playing and singing, was in one single place. They would not stand even one moment separated from the others. If any one of them had even the slightest suffering, they all used to share the suffering. Therefore, everyone followed Rama. So all the family in one house had unity and they gave an ideal in life.
If there is one wife in a house there are unbearable sufferings. If there are two wives, then there is no need to elaborate further! If there are three wives, then it is like a tight knot: whenever observed, there is only fighting. However, in Dasaratha’s house there was nothing like that.
Yet you may think, “Kaika asked for that (the boons to send Rama away), isn’t it so? Kaika increased ashanthi (lack of peace), isn’t it so?” Yet Kaika didn’t do that at all. She behaved like this only for the sake of killing of the demons, according to the command given by her husband.
“Rama must kill the demons. So (if I don’t ask for any boons,) I will be one who goes against His orders. So I will not go against them.” Saying that, she desired two boons.
Everyone feels in different ways, saying that due to the advice of Manthara she was spoiled. It was not Kaika that listened to the words of Manthara. She was a greatly virtuous and chaste lady. She was one of good character. She felt that it was only the command of God.
“If Rama is not sent like this to the forest, the death of the demons will not come about. Ravana must be killed.” Therefore, she made the whole plan and she made it come about through her resolve. She did it and finally the demons were killed.
Kaika was one who loved Rama more than her son Bharata. Her son came. Bharata came (and asked Kaika), “How can this mother who is so affectionate, ask for these boons?”
Then she said with folded hands, “Dear son, this is all the resolve of God. I had to conduct based on this resolve. Therefore, every single thing happens by the resolve of God but the resolve of mere man will never gain result.” Saying that, Kaika gave answers to everyone.

THROUGH WHOM WILL THIS DEATH OCCUR?
What kind of life will these four lead in the future? Then only the matter of Ravana was also known. They (the people) prayed to Dasaratha, “Ravana is giving trouble to all of our devatas (demigods). There needs to be a solution for this.”
Then he said, “Dear ones, my son has been born. He is young. He will be able to bear this responsibility. I don’t have any powers or capabilities. I don’t even have the ability to investigate into that.” Saying that, he turned over the inquiry to the scholars, and he said, “You only inquire.”
He (Ravana) should die. Through who will this death occur? Dasaratha only said how: “At one time Ravana prayed to me only: ‘I should not be killed by devatas, yagna, yaga, ceremonies, kinera (see glossary) or kimpurushas (see glossary).’ That day I gave the boon to Ravana. He should not die by the hand of devatas, kinneras, kimpurushsa or demons. I myself gave him the boon.”
However, we should think about only one thing. He did not desire that he would not die by a human being. Rama was in the form of a human being. He will die by Rama’s hand. So it is not something that will happen by demons. It will not happen by kinneras. It can't happen by kimpurushas. It can't happen by beasts or anything else.
He thought that human beings are very insignificant. Thinking that man was so low made him have so much (pride). We have to observe very clearly even the boons we ask for.
Even Vishnu gave him a boon. He said he (Ravana) will not be killed by devatas, kinneras, kimpurushas or demons. However, he did not ask and God also did not accept (or grant) that, ‘May I not have it (death) by man’. So there is this kind of secret in it. So after Rama grew up, he (Dasaratha) said that Rama would kill him (Ravana).

WHERE IS HANUMAN FROM?
When Hanuman went and arrived in Lanka, Lankini said, “Bad times have come to our Lanka. A monkey has come.” When he beat Lankini, her head reeled and she fell down. “Lankini will not fall so easily. So whenever I, Lankini, the guard of the main gate fall, the meaning is that the whole of Lanka will be destroyed. From that day Lanka was in danger.” Thinking that, Lankini went and told Ravana.
Where is Hanuman from? We should also take (consider) that. An eagle took away the payasam that Sumitra had. It took it and went. When Anjani Devi was in meditation, it put the cup in front of her. Not Anjali: Anjani Devi. She took that payasam. Hanuman came in her womb. Meaning, Hanuman is also part of Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Satrughna. So Hanuman was so close to Rama and he took part in the activities of Rama.
DEMONSTRATE AN IDEAL
Embodiments of Love!
There are so many amazing wonders in the Ramayana. There is no one who has (fully) searched and seen (all of) its secrets. If one thinks carefully, there is not a single word in it without meaning. Ramayana demonstrates an ideal in all ways: for every family, for every brother, for all sisters and for all parents. It demonstrates an ideal in all aspects. How should each one behave? How should each one be respected? The Ramayana teaches it all.
There isn’t even anyone to argue, “This is a modern age isn’t it, why should every single thing told by one be listened to by others?” Whether it is modern age or modern age, words are words. Truth should be practiced. Humility should be shown. Obedience should be demonstrated. We have to give a true ideal.
Every single man was born to demonstrate an ideal but he did not live (take birth) only as a decoration. Every individual should demonstrate an ideal according to his capability. There is such an eligibility in every single human being.
How should the mother look after the child? How should the child respect the mother? How we should respect the guests when they come to the house? All of these come from (are learned in) one family. The whole world is a house. All of mankind is a family. Therefore, mankind, which is of one family, should not give place for these types of feelings of difference.
There are so many limbs joined in our body. The hand works, the eyes see, the ear hears, and the mouth speaks. Though the things that they do are different, all of the limbs in the body teach unity. All human beings have various limbs. In that same way, all human beings live in one country like limbs. These are the standards from ancient days.

THEY DID NOT SHED TEARS
Therefore, from those days they practiced such an ideal life. When a mother gave her daughter to a son born to another mother of a son, the parents would not cry, saying that they (their child) is going to another house. “My daughter has to go to that house as there is work to be done there. Hence, my daughter has to fulfill her responsibilities in that house.” Saying that, they used to happily send them.
Today there isn’t that joy. If they are sending her to the in-laws house, even if they don’t cry outright, they will wipe them away (dab their eyes), paapam! In those days they did not shed tears.
‘Naara’ means ‘water’. ‘Nayana’ means eyes. The water that comes from the eyes is called tears. These are not tears of sorrow. They are tears of joy. Hence, what does tears mean? Tears of joy. They are not tears that come from sorrow. So the situation of those days was very sacred. Each one fulfilled their duty, and how amazing it was!
How much suffering there would be for Kausalya while sending her own son to the forest! However, the Brahmans (scholars) that wrote our history write so much (their own whims and fancies). Kausalya didn’t cry like that at all.
“Son, you have been born. It is my good fortune to have given birth to you. It is Your good fortune that you follow Your duty. Each one must do their duty. Son, are you feeling bad that You are going to the forest? However, Ayodhya without You is a forest for us. The forest that You are in is Ayodhya to You. So that forest is Ayodhya for You. To be in Ayodhya without You is my exile in the forest.” Saying that, they (the people of those days) used to demonstrate such ideals.
So in the story of Ramayana, if we take each aspect, they are so many surprising signs in it. At another time, amazing (or wondrous) things can be observed. Dasaratha was coming. However, he saw. Mother was not in the bedroom. Rama was there. Yet what was Rama doing? He was a small boy. He was massaging His own feet. Dasaratha saw.
“Ayyo paapam! As He played and went about so much, maybe His Feet are aching. Hence, someone should be sent (to massage His Feet).” Thinking that, he sent a couple of servants there. There were no pains. Why?
(Rama thought,) “The nature of the Feet is that they should be massaged. I should do it to my own Body but it is not good to have others do it. If others massage My Feet then I will be master and they will be servants. However, all in this world are only servants. It is said:

All are one, be alike to everyone.

Hence all are equal. Rama did like that to demonstrate such equality. He never made anyone do even a bit of work. The nature of this Avatar, the characteristics of an Avatar and the signs of an Avatar are very wondrous.
Yesterday I mentioned lavanya. What does it mean? The control of the senses is lavanya. Dasaratha: Dasaratha is one who has the ten senses under his control. Therefore, a son who has lavanya will be born to the one who has control over the ten senses. So if a son of Rama should be born, the senses must be controlled. Hence it (the Ramayana) taught these kinds of inner meanings.
They write in the Ramayana as if Kaika heard many of Manthra’s words, listened to what Manthara said, and as if she gave a terrible punishment to Dasaratha. No, no! Kaika was the daughter of King Kekeya. She helped Dasaratha in the war with Indra. When the nub of the wheel came off she put her finger and steadied the wheel.
Would Kaika who was so greatly virtuous, enter into something so low? Will she make another mother cry? Kausalya was very dear to her. Due to times changing today, stories (history) change.

I HAVE NO WEAKNESS AT ALL
God will always bear the proper determination. That only is good character. That is the root cause of His youth. He never has old age. No old age at all. He is always young. Have you ever seen Krishna as a (elderly) grandfather? He did not become an old man. He was General of the Army at 75 years old. How can He be an old man? No, no!
Rama: Rama was the same. Rama was always young. In any situation and at any age also, he was very strong. No one should feel that age is related to and changes according to the age of the body.
Now the age of this Body is 77. Yet I have no weakness at all. (Applause) I can walk quickly. However, it would look funny to others. So I don’t walk like that. Just as people would laugh if a young child walks with a stick, just as people would laugh if an old man plays with toys, if I go running people would laugh. (Laughter) I should behave very rightfully as per the age.
I don’t have any type of weakness and none will come. (Applause) Whatever Avatar it is, signs of old age isn’t seen at all. Do I have any wrinkles? (Perhaps Swami points to his forehead, as A.K. said, “on the forehead.”) If the eyes are observed, they are shining brightly like bulbs. Ears: mistakes may come even to loudspeakers but My ears can hear very well. If this age comes, people go forth for cataract operation or something else. I can see to any distance.
There is great courage that I can firmly and blissfully succeed in any situation. The strength of My Body? No one knows. As much power (as I have), that much power I will (am able to) use. If too much comes I will control it. How?
This means, see, there are speed breakers on the road. In some places they build them very high. In some places they put two (double ones). In that way, I have to put it (the power) under control to some extent with a few speed breakers. It is only that but there is no fault in the car. It will always go with speed.
Likewise, when will the suitable signs of Divinity be known? You will know gradually, in the future. I am not one who does propaganda at the human level. The Body is a human form but the body which is in the human form, is like a human being (acts like a human being). God is an all-pervading power.

The body is made up of the five elements.
Some day the body is bound to fall.
The Indweller is permanent.
The permanent Indweller has no death or birth,
and has no attachment, rules or regulations.
See truly, that Indweller only is God Himself.
(Telugu poem)

If the body is the body, that is the true relationship with the body. (??) Everyone (all Avatars like) Rama and Krishna, lived in that way. Finally Rama went (died). Krishna left the body. But how did they go? People who don’t know say, “They died in the war. In the Yadavas, a musalam (pounding) was born, Yadavas fought and each one killed the other.” They did not go (die) like this at all.
Rama went into the Sarayu River. He got down in the Saruyu River and He disappeared. He sent Sita before. Krishna also was likewise. He went to Dwaraka. He went there; he went as if He was going somewhere. He sat under a tree. Uddhava saw. He saw and in a moment He disappeared.
All of these are not Bodies that can be caught by anyone. So, you should earn the suitable power to recognize Divinity. You will understand how Divinity is through that.

SWAMI’S WAY OF WALKING IS GENTLE
Embodiments of Love!
Due to going about with you, eating with you, moving about with you, playing with you and singing with you, you feel that this is a human being. It is a big ignorance to consider this as a human being. This ignorance comes in the way of you realizing wisdom.
So, I will never have any kind of weakness. Some women say, “It seems as if Swami has leg pain. He is walking like that.” I have no leg pain at all. I am moving about blissfully. However, I am telling you that it is due to some reasons.
Here is the robe. The robe is sewed down to ankle level. They sew it there (Swami points to the bottom of His robe?). If there are pieces and pieces while walking, it cannot be seen clearly. When I need to put the Foot forward a little, it comes as an obstacle. If you recognize all of these reasons, you will not question at all why Swami doesn’t walk with speed. They sew it. If I put the Foot forward, this goes back. So even (this style of) walking has become a sort of fashion.
Swami’s way of walking is gentle. (Applause) It is a soft and sweet way of walking. It is a sweet way of walking. It is not a rough way of going. I don’t have any roughness at all. I am all softness and sweetness. (Applause)
So you have to try in so many ways to recognize the Divinity in this Ramayana. There are so many more great secrets that are not present in the (recorded) story of the Ramayana. In the future I will tell you and I will remove some doubts.
Are you, the children, ready to sing?
