LIST OF OVER 130 FORMER LONG-TERM DEVOTEES AND
OFFICE-BEARERS WORLDWIDE WHO LEFT SAI BABA
by Robert Priddy
There are doubtless far more persons than those listed
who have left Sai Baba after considerable periods as followers. There is
plenty of evidence that many who discover the truth want to put him and all of
it behind them as soon as possible. Many others do not wish their names
published for a number of good reasons, including questions of the effect on
their social position or professional prestige (knowing that the world mostly
holds followers of such false gurus to be foolish persons). In India, there is sufficient evidence of disappearances
and murders to show that almost all ex-devotees see it as unsafe to announce
their disaffection from - or opposition to - Sai Baba.
Despite all that, the list is growing all the time and
shows how seriously the evidence is taken by many persons who have given large
chunks of their lives and resources to serving this untruthful guru.
