Glen,
Though it has taken a while, we have just shared some of your information
with our churches via email. We mentioned your name as well in case they want to
learn more, though we included the State Department website and quote.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While we do not dictate the
content of our churches' bookstores or invitations to speakers, we believe this
information is important to all.
Blessings,
Lisa Wittman

Dear Lisa,
Thank you your follow-up on our request.
This entire matter concerning Dr. Wayne Dyer and the Unity Churches was
originally called to my attention by Mr. Dennis Hannisch, former devotee and USA
Sai Center President who is now one of the active global coordinators helping
to shine the spotlight of truth on the criminal sexual molestation activities of
Sathya Sai Baba.
Dennis has personally visited many of the Unity Churches and talked and
communicated with various ministers and their bookstore supervisors
about the Dr. Dyer references to Sathya Sai Baba..
All of us were shocked to learn that Dr. Dyer endorses Sathya Sai Baba
in his books.
Since he is such an influential and well known speaker, the potential
harm to innocent unsuspecting readers could be
considerable and we therefore
called it to the attention of your association.
We understand that your group cannot dictate to the individual
churches, but we appreciate that you considered the matter important enough to at
least tell them about our concerns.
In that context, could you please send me a copy of the message that
was Emailed to your member churches.
For anyone who wants to know more about these issues, especially as
they relate to Dr. Dyer's involvement, please feel free
to also contact
Dennis Hanisch <marswalker108@hotmail.com
The best web site sources for the truth about any of the issues
concerning Sai Baba are.......

http://www.saiguru.net/
http://home.no.net/anir/Sai/
http://bdsteel.tripod.com/
As previously mentioned, our major concern is to help warn all
unsuspecting persons travelling to Sai Baba's ashram to not only be aware of the
criminal sexual abuses committed on boys and young men, but also of the many
other issues which include murder, missing persons and financial
corruption.
Although India is often thought of as a Democratic country, nothing
could be further from the truth when it comes to protecting civil rights. People
can be arrested in India, thrown in jail and detained for many months or
even years without even any charges filed.
The politicians and Prime Ministers of India have all bowed down and
kissed the feet of the fraud guru, Sai Baba for many years now and the
cover-up and corruption and influence peddling extends all the way to Sai Baba's
flunkies sitting on the Supreme Court.
India is not a safe place to visit.
Dr. Dyer is not alone when it comes to prominent metaphysical authors
and speakers endorsing Sai Baba. The list also includes Dr. Doreen Virture
who recently was the featured guest on the popular radio program, Coast to
Coast AM hosted by George Noory. Doreen used the occasion to mention Sai
Baba, knowing full well that it would be heard all over the world.
Again Lisa, we thank you and look forward to receiving a copy of the
message that was sent to the various unity churches.
With Love , Light and Joy,
Glen Meloy

Glen,
Here's the short message we sent.
Lisa
COPY OF MESSAGE SENT TO UNITY MEMBER CHURCHES
We want to provide information regarding the author of material that may
be in your bookstore. A concern has been brought to our attention regarding
Sathya Sai Baba.
A search on UNESCOšs website yields a "media advisory" dated September 15
(year not given) stating in part, "the Organization (UNESCO) is deeply concerned
about widely-reported allegations of sexual abuse involving youths and children
that have been levelled at the leader of the movement in question, Sathya Sai
Baba."
The following excerpt can be found today at the US State Department
website (http://travel.state.gov/india.html).
CRIME IN ANDHRA PRADESH: Americans traveling to or residing in Andhra
Pradesh should also be aware that there have been media and other reports of
inappropriate sexual behavior by a prominent local religious leader. Most of the
reports indicate that the subjects of these approaches have been young male
devotees, including a number of Americans. Although these reports are
unconfirmed, American citizens should be aware of this information.
We recognize that our colleagues will have a range of responses to this
information some will feel it is not pertinent, others may choose not to
include Sai Baba material in the bookstore.
Glen Meloy, the person who initially raised the concern and asked us to
provide information to our ministers and spiritual leaders, can be reached at
yesontruth@earthlink.net for further information.
