Here's the update on the Sai Baba chart I originally interpreted in October, 2000. As this too is done as a public service, it may be copied and distributed with limitation as long as my authorship is acknowledged.

In the fall of 2000, it appeared that Sai Baba would begin experiencing restriction and loss beginning November 2, 2000, as restrictive Saturn became is "supberiod" Dasha (planetary cycle) planet - as shown in the Dashas table above. This and other factors indicated he could suffer a downfall as early as the summer of 2001.

Clearly, although Sai Baba has been under increasing public pressure as his alleged misdeeds have been revealed internationally, he (like other powerful and wealthy leaders with a staunch following) has survived. What we do not know, however, is the controversy's impact upon both Sai Baba personally and his organization, for "information security" appears to have been effective so far.

As shown above, the restrictive Saturn planetary cycle began November 2, 2000 and ends February 3, 2003. These dates may be off a few weeks, or even a month or so, for although this chart appears to accurately reflect Sai Baba's traits and circumstances, a few minutes change in the birth time would similarly change his Saturn planetary cycle.

Currently, Sai Baba is "running" Venus/Saturn/Venus from 12/22/2001 to 7/2/2002. Venus is the long 20 year cycle, Saturn is the modifying 2 year cycle and Venus is the "current influences" 6 month cycle. Venus is good for wealth and occult power for Sai Baba. Saturn restricts and separates, as mentioned above. Venus has recently (since January) been in a difficult position in transit (in today's sky) by being combust (burnt) by the Sun, but as the Sun also illuminates, and Venus (also) signifies secrets in this chart, the expose effort has achieved gathering successes in bringing these hidden matters into the light. That Venus is the planet of love and is a sexually powerful symbol in this chart, suggests that sex activities are the current and appropriate focus for the expose group. Provocatively, Sun/Venus is a combination for entertainment, as is the 5th house transit position, which indicates why the Danish television programs been produced and aired.

While the current expose efforts appear to be gaining momentum and effectiveness, the month of April may see a real breakthrough as Sai Baba experiences a month of turmoil and reversals with further unveiling of his "hidden" activities. At the same time, Sai Baba will be experiencing a very difficult Jupiter (religion) transit, which will stimulate his distorted and bizarre philosophies and harm even further his debased judgment and ethics. In the event that he speaks out, he will thereby damage his reputation. Further, any public speeches Sai Baba makes will tend to be forcefull and combative, which would only add to his public problems. In other words, the truly mean side of this "man" could be seen in April.

Sai Baba is also currently experiencing Sadi Sati, which is when Saturn crosses the houses around his "public career" Moon. This 7 year period is greatly feared in India, although it doesn't always bring great harms. Still, in Sai Baba's chart, Sadi Sati can only inflict greater restrictions during the next 4 years. On July 23 of this year, Saturn transits into the Moon's house, which will begin Sadi Sati's most harmful period, and will not only stifle life's benefits and bring loss and separation, but will also tend to weaken his mind.
